Bruins, NHL, NHLPA, TD Garden Teaming Up to Donate $250,000 to Boston Marathon Victims

Bruins Senators HockeyThe Bruins continue to show their heroic efforts in the community — making huge plans to help those affected after the Boston Marathon tragedy.

On Wednesday, the B’s announced various initiatives to support everyone affected by the Boston Marathon. Most notably, the Bruins will be part of a $250,000 donation to The One Fund Boston supporting Boston Marathon victims and their families.

Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs has pledged $100,000 to the charity foundation on behalf of the entire Bruins organization and players. The One Fund Boston was established to raise money to help those families affected by the Boston Marathon. The TD Garden, NHL and NHLPA will also be making a donation of $50,000 each, raising the combined total to $250,000.
